2020 – International Weston
In 2020 we will be celebrating the international influences on Weston across the centuries. From maritime paintings to family members who travelled the world, we will be sharing our international connections and collections throughout the year.
Set amidst the breath-taking ‘Capability’ Brown Parkland, Weston Park is the ancestral home of the Earls of Bradford. The House boasts an internationally significant collection of furniture and many famous paintings, including works by van Dyck, Gainsborough, Lely and Stubbs.
Take a stroll through the beautiful gardens and ‘Capability’ Brown’s Pleasure Grounds which include woodland walks, lakes and follies. There are 1000 acres of undisturbed Parkland also to explore.
The Bridgeman family travelled the globe, and there will be a wide range of opportunities to delve into these stories, go behind the scenes, explore the bedrooms and view items of the collection that have never been on public display before.
See the latest exhibition in the Granary Art Gallery, open 11am-4pm and enjoy freshly brewed coffee and homemade cake in our Granary Bakery.
Groups are welcome during our main Easter and Summer seasons and we offer reduced rates for groups of 12 or more.
11th – 26th April 2019 and 26th May – 28th August 2020
We have put together a range of packages starting from £9 per person, or we would be delighted to create a bespoke package based on your group’s interests and requirements.
