Due to the National Lockdown the estate is closed for now.
We had been working towards opening the Park and Gardens for the February Half Term, however we hope that the Government update on or around 22nd February will give more definition as to the way forward – for everyone!
The Park and Gardens will therefore remain closed for the time being with a view to opening in March.
Your support throughout 2020 has been invaluable to us and we are deeply grateful – thank you.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Weston as soon as we can in 2021.
Yours to Explore and Enjoy!
Weston Park is set in 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland to truly escape into. From manicured Formal Gardens, the natural beauty of Temple Wood to the wide open expanse of Parkland – why not get outdoors and get to know every corner of the estate this year.
Glorious gardens surround the House; the newly restored Formal Gardens with beautiful rose beds, the sunken Italian Gardens, sweeping lawns and Rose Walk make for a relaxing walk to take in the changing seasonal blooms.
A naturalistic and romantic paradise, Temple Wood is one of the jewels in the crown of Capability Brown’s work and is just one of five remaining examples of his Pleasure Grounds in the country.
Fun for big and little kids
Our Woodland Adventure Playground is a firm family favourite, packed full of adventures from climbing walls, slides, trampolines, log swings and one of the country’s longest double zip-wires. Hop on board the Miniature Railway as it steams through Temple Wood on a 12 minute journey past lakes and woodland taking in wildlife at every turn.
