Schools accross Shropshire and Staffordshire have entered this exciting competition to find the next generation of show stopping artists.
In view of Weston Park’s involvement in the 2018 Chippendale 300 celebrations, the theme for the competition was furniture and design.
Children in primary and secondary education were asked to create artworks to be in with the opportunity to win a cash prize for their school funds as well as art materials for themselves. All mediums such as paintings, photography, woodwork, printmaking, drawing and sculpture were welcome in the competition.
All shortlisted entries and winners are currently on display in the Granary Art Gallery.
The competition has been generously supported by Shrewsbury based auction house, Halls.
The winning entries were awarded as follows:
