In August the Granary Art Gallery will be exhibiting the works of artists Dea Paradisos and Helen Sian.
Dea Paradisos’ work seeks to understand conditioning, attachment and impermanence, an investigation into the sensations of craving and aversion and how we respond to these within a cultural context. I use a wide range of elements, experimenting with media and process. Mark making, sculpture, found objects, sound, film and performance are drawn together in installation, producing work that aims to be immersive and emotive.
Helen-Sian’s work is predominately mixed media painting, observing the weather and how it shapes the land/seascape and the way it changes our moods. She mainly paints in North Wales, and recently has been discovering some of the beautiful areas around Shropshire.
The Granary Art Gallery is open from 11am – 4pm.
