As we wave goodbye to the cosy hues of autumn, and the icy tint of winter draws in, a colourful exhibition is springing up at Weston Park’s Granary Art Gallery. Featuring work from Shropshire printmaker Karen Sillar, Cheshire artist Alison Stafford, and wildlife artist Liselle-Fae, ‘Colour by Nature’ promises a vibrant, contemporary exhibition of art inspired by the natural world.
Brought together by their lifelong passion for nature, Karen, Alison and Liselle are heavily influenced by the colour and light found within the natural environment. Looking through both the smallest and largest of windows, their work presents a diverse and colourful interpretation of the surrounding landscape and its flora and fauna.
‘Colour by Nature’ opens on the 30th October and runs through to the 7th December at the Granary Art Gallery at Weston Park, Weston-under-Lizard, Shifnal TF11 8LE. The gallery is open daily from 11-4pm and entry is free.
Karen, Alison and Liselle we be in the gallery demonstrating and chatting about their work on 27th & 28th November, as well as a number of other days throughout the exhibition.
