Throughout 2019 we are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria and our Behind the Scenes Tours will throw open the doors, both front and back of House, for you to explore Victorian Weston.
We are not ashamed to say that you can’t see a preserved Victorian kitchen with rows of gleaming copper pans as Weston is still very much a working house and place of hospitality.
Join one of our experienced guides to see where world leaders, prime ministers and Royal guests have stayed and where the next great party or event might just be about to happen.
Step inside some of our luxurious bedrooms, take a look at the Stewards Room and Servants Hall and find out how they are used today, learn more about the 3rd Earls lavish house parties and how the dawn of the railways impacted on life at Weston.
Behind the Scenes at Weston gives you the chance to discover both the modern day opulence and our intriguing Victorian past and to see the upstairs, downstairs world as it has been and – indeed – still is in this remarkable House.
Tours take place at 12noon and 2pm
£5.50 per person in addition to standard admission
