Head of Estate Operations

We are looking to recruit a Head of Estates Operations to manage some key aspects of our commercial activities, related resources and facilities to ensure they meet the the charity’s operational and financial needs, now and in the future.

As a member of the Senior Management Team you will provide a vital role in ensuring that the estates infrastructure provides an appropriate environment to allow the company to deliver its corporate objectives and growth plans.

This role is key to our commercial development in the outdoor event and visitor experience business and we continue to grow these areas.

You will provide strategic leadership and effective management of the Estates team, manage and be accountable for the efficient and effective provision of comprehensive client centred services for estates planning, management and facility support services.

Event Sales Manager

The House and its collections are not hidden behind ropes as we operate as an exclusive use venue.  With its tranquil location, 28 bedrooms and easy access to major train stations and airports, Weston is a highly sought after venue for private house parties, weddings, celebrations and corporate events.

Guests enjoy exclusive use of the House with dedicated five-star service from the team.

Searcys are delighted to have been appointed as the new caterers at Weston Park.  As a result of this we are looking to recruit an Event Sales Manager on a full time permanent basis.

As an Event Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling the Weston Park leisure experience in the House to agreed budgets. This is a client facing role that works closely with the relevant teams across the organisation to ensure all packages and experiences are engaging and meet the expectations of new and existing clients.

Event Sales Manager – Job Description

Visitor Welcome Assistant

We are looking to appoint a confident and well presented individual with excellent customer service skills to work in our Admissions Department.

The Visitor Welcome Assistant is often the first point of contact for our visitors and therefore must have a smart and professional appearance, be computer literate and be a good communicator. A background in customer service would be advantageous however full training will be given.

Some weekend work will be required and your own transport is essential due to our location.

Job Description 

Housekeeping Assistants

We are seeking to recruit new members of the Housekeeping team to work on a casual basis.

These are hands-on roles where you work closely with the Head and Deputy Head Housekeepers and the Housekeeping Department, to ensure a smooth and refined service for the Housekeeping operations in The Hall, including the guest public areas, the 28 bedrooms available for exclusive use events; The Granary Grill; The Deli and Café and The Art Gallery; the Administration Offices, The Stables and Education Department, outdoor visitor facilities and the holiday properties.

We believe guests must come first so an acute eye for detail is essential.  Applicants must have a sound knowledge of housekeeping procedures, although training will be given and most importantly a passion to offer five star service.  You will have a high standard of customer care skills and be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of the team.

A smart professional appearance is vital, together with excellent communication skills and an approachable manner.

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment would be advantageous.

Hours will be rostered in advance and will include weekends, Bank Holidays and evenings, when required, so a degree of flexibility is required.  Your own transport is essential in view of Weston Park’s location.
