As the festive season approaches, Weston Park, the 17th century stately home on the Shropshire \ Staffordshire border is putting the finishing touches to the Christmas decorations.
This year, the House has been elegantly dressed under the creative direction of House Events Coordinator Patrycja Sliwa and Curatorial and Learning Coordinator Alison Poole.
With the help of an army of volunteer elves the team have sprinkled festive magic creating imaginative and eclectic decorations.
With twinkling Christmas trees in the Entrance Hall and the Library, glistening garlands and statement mantelpiece arrangements alongside traditional decorations sparkling throughout the rooms. The House has been transformed to give guests a real taste of Christmas at Weston.
Colin Sweeney, Chief Executive of the Weston Park said “From the initial concept to delivery Patrycja and Alison have created a series of stunning displays throughout the House. We are looking forward to a busy season across the estate and decorating the House is an essential part of the Christmas preparations at Weston.
I would like to say a big thank you to Patrycja, Alison and our wonderful volunteers who put so much time and effort in creating the decorations that reflect a personal touch.”

Visitors can see the House, the collection and decorations at the annual Christmas Food & Craft Fayre on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December. Tickets are £5 per person when booked in advance on-line. Admission to the House is £3 per person.
