We are excited to announce that this year we have two brand new holiday lets available within the historic grounds of the Weston Park estate. The Gardener’s Bothies are two unique properties, both with their own distinctive and quirky design scheme.
The bothies are located against the west wall of the Walled Kitchen Garden, in the heart of the estate. The original bothies have been restored to create these fantastic holiday properties.
The bothies were once used primarily by the gardens team on the estate for storing clay pots, canes and plants for decorating the House. Gardeners who had survived WW1 came back to work in the bothies after the war had ended.
Renovations to the original buildings involved completely reforming the structures, as both were in poor condition. The life has been restored into this historic part of the estate, so they can be enjoyed and appreciated once more.

Gardener’s Bothy with a new lease of life
Susie Stocks from The Design Consultancy has designed the stunning interiors for both of the Gardener’s Bothies. Her design is inspired by their history, especially in this year of Capability Brown’s 300th birthday anniversary. The Potting Shed’s interior is motivated by the painted white bare brick walls in the original structure. The Gardener’s Bothy demonstrates a theme portraying earthy colours, as well as having a snug feel. Two different styles which both suit the properties’ history.
The Potting Shed now adorns a fresh and modern design scheme with white washed walls and quirky features. Entering the property through large glazed doors the open plan living space features a high-spec kitchen, wood burning stove, sheep skin rugs and a comfortable sofa. The large bedroom has a beautiful en-suite bathroom with a luxurious bath, heated floors, twin sinks and soft lighting.

Entering the property through large glazed doors the open plan living space again features a hi-spec kitchen, wood burning stove, sheep skin rugs and a comfy sofa. The large bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a bath, heated floors, twin sinks and soft lighting.
