Which Countess gave Disraeli slippers for Christmas? Which Earl witnessed a secret Royal marriage? What is the story behind the Yellow Parrot in the Drawing Room? Meet the Captain of the Mary Rose who went down with his ship.

Built in 1671 by Lady Elizabeth Wilbraham, the House contains an internationally significant collection including works by Van Dyck, Sir Peter Lely, Stubbs, Gainsborough and Holbein; a rare set of Gobelin tapestries and furniture by Royal makers Morel and Hughes.

Kids can run wild in the Adventure Playground

Not only is there 1,000 acres of Capability Brown Parkland to explore on foot or on your bike, there is the fabulous Woodland Adventure Playground with something for smaller children as well as the more adventurous in the family.
 

Discovery Workshops

Our free indoor and outdoor Discovery Workshops allow youngsters to explore their creative talent as well as hunting out secrets hidden in the Park's woodlands.

Kids can go Pond Dipping for watery mini-beasts, go on a Tree Trail or play Plant Detective and learn more about Weston's many plants and wildlife.  Indoor activites include clay modelling, toy making, creating mosaics and making your own flip flops! 
 

Take a ride on the Miniature Railway

Jump aboard "Merlin" from Weston Station and take a train journey through Temple Wood, taking in views of Capability Brown's pleasure grounds, Paine's Bridge and Temple Pool.
 

Relax in the Stables Coffee Bar

Open for tea, coffee, homemade sandwiches and cakes, with open courtyard seating there is plenty for children to do including giant games of Chess and Jenga.
 

Treat yourself to lunch in the Granary Grill, Bar & Restaurant

For just £13 for a main course and dessert, enjoy lunch in the new Granary Grill, Bar & Restaurant. Lunch is served from 12.30pm - 3pm daily. (Last orders 2.30pm) 
 

Granary Farm Shop & Art Gallery

The Granary Farm Shop is open daily, all year round, selling the very best in locally produced food and drink. With it's in own in-house Butcher the Farm Shop is ideal for shopping for a special occasion or every day essentials.
