Summer Term Visits
School visits at Weston Park
6th June – 25th July 2017
- Entry to Park and Gardens – £4.00 per child
- Entry to the Park + one activity – £5.75 per child
- Entry to the Park + two activities – £7.50 per child
Costs include VAT at the current rate. Adults (ratio 1:5) free admission plus special needs – please ask if you require further free adults places.
Entrance to the Park and Gardens includes access to our Woodland Adventure Playground, Walled Garden & Maze, Pleasure Gardens and Woodland, Art Gallery, Deer Park and Parish Church.
All visiting schools will be provided with an uncover lunch area where coats and lunch bags can be left.
Your coach driver is our guest.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES (led by Weston Park Education Team)
Habitats, Plants, Trees, Minibeasts and Sensory Walks
Explore our Woodlands looking at the different species of insects, animals, plants and trees and the life they all lead – with plenty of activities along the way.
Our most popular summer term activity. All the children will get an opportunity to dip off our specially built Pond Dipping platform. All equipment (except waterproof gloves) is provided including check lists and pictures to find out what lives in our pond and what they may turn into when they grow up.
INDOOR ACTIVITIES (led by Weston Park Education Team)
Toys from the Past
An opportunity for children to look at and play with our large collection of indoor toys and dress up in our mock Victorian costumes. Children also make a cup and ball to take back with them to school.
World War II “Children in the 1940s”
An opportunity to look at the lives children during the war, dress up in 1940′s costumes including army, navy and RAF uniforms, examine our authentic gas masks, compare our sitting room with their sitting room at home and make a gas mask to take back to school with them.
Homes in the Past
Our wonderful volunteers dress up in their maids’ costumes and take children around the Mansion House on a Victorian Tour looking at the difference between children today and in the past and the roles of Lords, Ladies and servants.
