Robinsons of Tettenhall

Robinsons butchers based in Wolverhampton have been producing and supplying the finest quality meats and delicatessen products, utilising the finest available ingredients since 1905 and are now also running the butchery in the Granary Farm Shop.
Robinsons pride themselves in nurturing, maturing and creating the finest cooked meat foods and are also a member of the Q Guild of Butchers – an elite 2.5% of butchers who believe passionately about quality in all aspects of their business.
Homemade sausage varieties include traditional pork, caramelized onion, garlic and tomato, venison and pork and leek.
The delicatessen also supplies olives, homemade pork pies, cooked meats, homemade pies including steak and kidney, minced beef and onion and turkey and ham as well as an extensive collection of cheeses.
For a quick and easy supper homemade lasagne and cottage pie can be picked up from deli counter.
Ideal for barbecues this summer is the award-winning “Sloe Gin Slinger” which won best sausage in the National Barbecue Championships this June. 
 

Freedom Brewery 

Freedom Brewey is the home of hand crafted English lagers. Situated in rural Staffordshire and using a sustainable source of natural brewing water, Freedom is proud to offer a range of premium lagers and is England's first lager only micro-brewery.  Staffordshire based Freedom lies in an idyllic country setting, benefiting from its own source of sustainable, pure limestone Spring water. This water attracted has brewers to the Burton area for over three hundred years and is rightly acknowledged to be among the best brewing water in the world.
 

Shropshire Fine Herbs

The range of Herb Oatmeal Biscuits has been developed with the help of members of the cheese trade including National Cheese Judges to ensure that the varieties are subtle and compliment, without overpowering the cheese.  The biscuits are made using organic Pimhill flour and oatmeal and fresh herbs from the 2-acre walled garden to ensure freshness of flavour.

The Granary Shop will carry the following range:

Garlic, Chive and Parsley – works will with mature cheddars

Lovage – good with soft, mild cheese

Halon Mon Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper – plain non-herbed variety for all cheese and charcuterie

Cumin, Chilli and Coriander – delicious with all cheese

French Tarragon – works well with chicken liver pate
 

Hindleys Bakery

Hindleys Bakery, originally set up in 1893, is run by brother and sister Duncan Hindley and Jackie Beaumont.  Hindleys strive to produce high quality bread and cakes the Granary will be stocking Rustic White, Wholemeal and Malted loaves as well as speciality breads including: walnut, cheese and onion, rye sour dough and sundried tomato and olive.

Their cake range includes old favourites like Chelsea Buns, Eccles Cakes, Jap Fancies, Frangipane Tarts as well as Easter Cup Cakes and Biscuits. 
 

Mahorall Farm Cider

Mahorall is a small family farm situated in the rolling hills of South Shropshire.  The King-Turner family have been farming there for over 40 years and in 2000 moved from traditional mixed farming to making a small amount of traditional cider for sale.  They now make over 30,000 litres of cider using apples from the farm and surrounding area – using only 100% fresh apple juice and wild natural yeast to achieve a taste of cider as it should be.
 

Creating Taste

Creating Taste was founded by Phil and John Daniels in 2007, to prepare and supply an innovative food menu for the retail and catering markets.  The product range includes delicious ready to bake meals – their en-croute main courses are an easy to prepare meal, the Granary will stock the following: Goats Cheese with sweet chilli dressing; Salmon with skinned red peppers; Chicken with creamed leeks and chorizo sausage.
 

Bertelin Cheese

The Heath family have lived and farmed at Ellenhall Grange, Eccleshall for 40 years and own a pedigree herd of Friesian cows – The Bertelin Herd – named after the 7th century St Bertelin.

Currently, the Heaths are making a Staffordshire Cheese – a traditional cloth bound cheese with a smooth crumbly texture, but can vary depending on maturity, and has a pale cream colour and a delicious creamy, fresh milky flavour.
Milk from the herd is also made into 'Bertelin Derby' another cloth bound cheese with a soft flaky curd and a melted butter taste.
Bertelin’s Staffordshire Cheese recently won a gold award at the prestigious Nantwich International Cheese Awards despite only making cheese for 15 months! The Gold award came in the Small Producers Hard Cheese non Blue Class which received over 2,761 entries from 24 countries and can be found in the Granary Farm Shop.
