The Temple of Diana is the back stage pass for music worshipers to this year’s V Festival at Weston Park (22nd and 23rd August). Taking luxury living to the extreme, this will be festival first as the newly restored Grade I listed 18th century folly debuts as the ultimate place to stay.
Having been created for the lady of the house as a place to relax, entertain and listen to music, the Temple will be returning to its roots for V. And as a party pad, there really is nothing else to compare. The vast glazed orangery, which stretches to the full height of the building, is as breath taking as the views it enjoys; the perfect setting in which to unwind whilst still soaking up the festival vibe. The theme of this light and modernly interpreted room is continued into the octagonal kitchen and TV room. Whilst the intricate plasterwork and colourful friezes of the music room and dining room give a nod to the Temple’s illustrious history.
Two stone staircases link the three-storey building and it is via these that the three double bedrooms are reached (one can be a twin). A main bathroom and two en-suites complete the accommodation. All have been individually and exquisitely designed by an internationally renowned interior designer.
