Stately Home's Sizzling New Granary Grill

Saturday 1st May will see the opening of a 70-seater restaurant in the grounds of Weston Park, providing picture perfect surroundings in which to enjoy high quality locally-sourced food and drink.

The Granary Grill will complete the final phase of the restoration of the Granary building. The ambitious development project has already seen the transformation of part of the disused building into a farm shop and art gallery.

The Granary Grill, located in the old malting house of the Granary building will feature a state-of-the-art open plan kitchen with a large grill where Head Chef Guy Day's team will sizzle up lunch and dinner seven days a week. A split level seating area will provide diners with beautiful views over the Church Pool and estate cottages.

The restaurant development will complete the estate's dining repertoire allowing visitors the opportunity to enjoy great food at everyday prices as Colin Sweeney, Chief Executive explains: "Our latest project will complete the food experience in the Granary. Our farm shop and in-house butchery will supply the Granary Grill with locally sourced produce and we are excited that the last piece of the jigsaw is falling into place."

Granary Grill, Bar & Restaurant opens on Saturday 1st May 2010.
