Weston Park, the stately home on the Shropshire / Staffordshire border will play host to over 60 food and craft stalls on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. The Spring Food & Craft Fayre will feature local homemade crafts and artisan food producers including Funky Food from Bloxwich, Mushemi Fire from Rugeley, The Wooden Play Den from Newport, Gardener’s Delight from Bridgnorth, Mr Moyden’s Handmade Cheese, Shropshire Asparagus and Swifts Bakery from Ludlow. Andrea Webster, Marketing Executive at Weston Park comments: “We have had a great response from stall holders with over 60 attending the show and look forward to lots of delicious treats.” The Spring Food & Craft Fayre marks the start of Weston’s main open season with visitors able to visit the House and take a look at the newly decorated historic Drawing Room, play in the Woodland Adventure Playground, take a walk around Capability Brown’s landscaped parkland, ride on the Miniature Railway or take a look at the ‘Mostly Figurative’ exhibition in the Granary Art Gallery and tuck into homemade food in the Granary Grill & Deli. The Spring Food & Craft Fayre takes place at Weston Park on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May with gates opening at 10.30am. Ticket prices: £3.50 per person. Under 4’s and Weston Park Annual Pass holders enter free of charge.
