This year Weston Park is serving up two treats for Mother’s Day, each giving the opportunity to enjoy the indulgences and extravagances of country house living.
Mother’s Day Lunch, Sunday 15th March
On the menu is a day that combines beauty of Weston’s Victorian Orangery, set against the stunning backdrop of Capability Brown landscaping, with food served by one of the county’s finest chef’s, Guy Day.
Whilst Guy’s team does the hard work, your family can relax and enjoy historic surroundings before sitting down to a delicious four-course Mother’s Day lunch. And having savoured the views over lunch, there follows the chance to explore the grounds, where the first signs of spring will be evident om the formal gardens and pleasure walks.
Four-course lunch followed by coffee and petit fours is £60 per person. Pre-booking is required by telephoning 01952 852100 or e-mailing: email@example.com
New for Spring 2015: Afternoon Teas, Tuesday 31st March, Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd April
Nothing could make for a nicer Mother’s Day gift then afternoon tea served in Weston Park’s Victorian Orangery, with delicate savouries and dainty cakes served on classic tea stands by Weston’s butlers.
Over the centuries, Weston Park has been famous for its afternoon teas, which would have been hosted by members of the Earl of Bradford’s family in the great House and in locations around the grounds.
Just as has always been the tradition, spring times guests will be able to take a look around the House before tea and take a walk around the gardens afterwards.
Price per person is £27.50. Pre-booking is required by telephoning 01952 852100 or e-mailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
