Lifelong Learning
As a Charitable Educational Trust, the aim of the Foundation is to use the rich heritage and extensive facilities at Weston for the benefit of future generations.
Weston provides a focal point for the diverse needs of schools, colleges and universities by allowing teachers and lecturers to combine work in the classroom with an inspiring outdoor environment and currently welcomes over 7,000 school children per year.
The Learning Department is dedicated to working with a range of educational establishments and strives to offer more informative and enjoyable visits that address the National Curriculum requirements in addition to identified QCA schemes of work.
Servants Database
Weston Park has been a home and place of work to many people who were employed by the Earls of Bradford and their family over the years. From the housemaids and footmen to the housekeeper and the steward, the household was frequently changing. The Weston Park Foundation has been researching the original records of the estate, which are now in the care of the Staffordshire County Records Office and with the University of Wolverhampton have created a searchable database of former staff.
Please click here to enter the database, click on register and start searching! If you have any further information you would like to share with us on former staff then please e-mail learning@weston-park.com
