Group Visits

Weston has a wide range of experiences for visiting groups of 16 or more including a look behind the scenes, garden walks and lecture lunches.

Successive generations of the Bridgeman family have left their mark on the estate including the internationally acclaimed art collection and the genius of Capability Brown's landscaped pleasure grounds.

The Granary Farm Shop and Art Gallery are open all year round and are free to enter. The farm shop, with its own in-house Butchery, stocks the very best in locally produced food and drink whilst the art gallery features changing exhibitions and items from Weston's own collection.

Behind the Scenes Tours:

These tours offer an intriguing glimpse of parts of the House not normally open to the public. Who were the staff and where did they live and work? How did the great house operate in the Victorian times when the 3rd Earl and his family would throw huge house parties? The tours also give an insight into the work of the Weston Park Foundation who are charged with the conservation of the House and its magnificent collection. Costs: £11 per person and includes entry to the House, Park and Gardens plus the tour.

Lecture Lunches:

For groups of 20 or more private lecture lunches can be organised. Gareth Williams, Curator to the Weston Park Foundation, delivers a wide range of topics and themes especially tailored for special interest groups.

Simply Stately:

New for 2010 Weston has teamed up with neighbouring Shugborough Hall, offering groups the opportunity to explore both properties through tailor-made itineraries.

For more information on all of the above please download the relevant PDF below.

Group Rates are available to parties of 16 or more visitors, excluding the organiser and driver, and need to be pre-booked.  The organiser and coach driver are free of charge.

The coach driver receives a complimentary family pass, free House entry and lunch voucher and Weston offers free coach parking.

The Park and Gardens re-opens to the Public on Saturday 29th May daily through to Sunday 5th September 2010, closed between Wednesday 18th - Wednesday 25th August inclusively and the House is closed on Saturdays.
