Spring Walk - Sunday 11th April 2010
Join Head Gardener Martin Gee to explore Capability Brown's stunning pleasure grounds as the park and gardens wake up for the spring.
Capability Brown laid out the pleasure grounds in the 1770's at Weston and they include sweeping vistas, grottos, lakes and follies. During this time, the renowned architect James Paine was comissioned to build the Temple of Diana and roman bridge in Temple Wood.
Martin's family have lived and worked on the estate for over 250 years and he will be your guide for this informative walk.

Admission is payable on the day at the Granary Farm Shop
The walk lasts approximately 2 hours and includes hilly areas and uneven terrain.
