Morville: A Garden in Another Time Exhibition

Maureen Cooper will be exhibiting her work in ‘Morville: A Garden in Another Time’ throughout March in the Granary Art Gallery. Having been captivated by both ‘The Morville Hours’ and the garden itself, the task of expressing the complexity of its ideas, both historical and horticultural, in visual terms became an ongoing preoccupation. Rupert Cordeux Exhibition

Rupert Cordeux was born in 1966 and from an early age he and his two brothers were encouraged by their parents to draw, so that for the three of them, it was just a natural extension of playing. Rupert’s late father, an engineer by profession but also a gifted artist, recognised that his son had a special talent for drawing and so he helped him to develop it further until he went to art school. Dieter Blum’s Cowboys from the Daimler Art Collection

Marquetry Society Exhibition

Admire contemporary marquetry undertaken by members of the Marquetry Society. Members of the Marquetry Society will be showing a selection of their work in a small exhibition in the Granary Art Gallery. See contemporary craft that still employs many of the skills that would have been known to Thomas Chippendale and his workshop in the eighteenth century.
