Join us for a special study day dedicated to contemporary and traditional equestrian art with renowned artists Alison Wilson and Glynis Mills. This unique day will have a particular focus on the world famous Art Collection at Weston Park.
The day will include a private guided tour of the House led by Curator & Head of Learning of the Weston Park Foundation, Gareth Williams, providing guests with the opportunity to be part of a very special viewing of Weston’s magnificent collection. The tour will not only look at the fine artworks but also silverware and other objects that celebrate the Earls of Bradford and their ancestor’s interest in the equestrian ceremonial, turf and hunting exploits.
Alison Wilson and Glynis Mills will be talking about the technical aspects of their work and techniques employed to achieve their stunning pieces. Their exhibition ‘Two Viewpoints’ will be exhibiting in the Granary Art Gallery throughout May.
Tickets include morning refreshments, a two-course lunch, lectures, a private view of Glynis Mills and Alison Wilson’s exhibition in the Granary Art Gallery and a Curator-led private tour of the House.
