Sunday 31st August, Monday 1st September and Tuesday 2nd September
The Temple of Diana was built in the 1770′s by the famous architect James Paine for Sir Henry and Lady Bridgeman as a place to entertain guests and take afternoon tea with the lady of the House.
The Temple has a circular tea room adorned with beautiful paintings depicting the life of Diana, the Goddess of Hunting, a music room, a glazed Orangery and views out over Capability Brown’s landscaped parkland.
The Temple was restored in the 1990′s by the Weston Park Foundation and is now a private residence.
The Temple is only open to the public for a few days each year so this is a rare opportunity to look inside this stunning building.
