This year’s National Graduate Show is dedicated to the legacy of Capability Brown and his influence both good and bad. The annual show gives recent graduates and those still in formal art education, the opportunity to not only show their work but the experience of gallery protocol. For visitors there is the chance to see original works including paintings, sculptures and photography from promising art graduates emerging from colleges and universities across the UK.
All entrants are being asked to theme their work to Brown’s legacy, whether demonstrating his inspiration or the absolute antithesis of his work. Some of the work will be offered for sale enabling people to make an acquisition at the start of an artists promising career.
The Graduate Show runs alongside our Tweets before Twitter exhibition.
