For the first time Weston Park is offering the opportunity to join a photographic workshop in the stunning surrounds of the park on the Staffordshire/ Shropshire border. With its classical architecture and stunning formal parkland, Weston Park is an unequaled location to enjoy a photography workshop. The workshop will be led by Graham Colling, an international award winning photographer, who has an extensive knowledge of the park.
Whether you are just starting out or take your photography more seriously, Graham will help you to develop your skills in image making in the magnificent surroundings of the Park and Gardens.
Your day will begin with welcome refreshments, a short introduction to the park and a schedule for the day. You will undertake practical photography sessions with Graham to develop your skills. Photography locations will include the formal gardens, Shrewsbury Walk and Temple Wood. Just some of the things Graham will cover are techniques and considerations when photographing trees, appropriate camera settings, working with light, composition, depth of field and use of filters.
Suitable for all except complete beginners.
